What is the Club Publix 1% back in perks program?
It’s our limited-time opportunity for Club Publix members to earn 1% back on eligible items purchased from
September 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022,
at participating Publix stores.
You may earn 1% Back Perks in $3 increments. Each $3 perk you earn will be added to your Club Publix digital wallet
and may be applied to future eligible in-store purchases made at any Publix store, excluding Publix GreenWise Markets.
How do I earn 1% back in perks?
You must (1) be a Club Publix member, (2) opted in to personalized communications
within your Club Publix settings, and (3) pay with the Publix app at the register
or enter the phone number associated with your Club Publix account at checkout
as a Club Publix member at participating Publix stores
during the promotional period.
When you spend $300 on eligible items, you earn a $3 perk in your Club Publix digital wallet.
Each $3 perk is valid toward your next in-store purchase of $3 or more at any Publix, and expires
14 days after being added to your Club Publix digital wallet.
How do I become a Club Publix member?
How do I update my Club Publix member settings to opt in to personalized communications?
To update your preferences, log in to your Club Publix account
(either via the app or through publix.com). Once you have logged in, go to your Profile and select
Personalized Communications. You may also opt in for General Email Communications from Publix
to ensure you receive notifications when perks are added to your Club Publix digital wallet.
How do I self-identify at checkout?
As a Club Publix member, you may self-identify by paying with the Publix app at
the register or entering the phone number associated with your Club Publix account
at checkout on the PIN pad.
What perks can I earn during this promotion?
Each time you spend $300 on eligible items in-store, you earn a 1% Back Perk in the
form of a $3 perk in your Club Publix digital wallet. You may track your progress
toward a $3 perk at clubpublix.com/onepercent. Each 1% Back Perk you earn appears
in your Club Publix digital wallet within 48 hours after you make your qualifying
purchase, and expires 14 days after it is awarded. Once you earn a $3 perk, you may
begin making progress toward your next $3 perk.
How do I redeem a 1% Back Perk that I earn?
Each 1% Back Perk you earn appears in your Club Publix digital wallet within 48 hours
after you make a qualifying purchase, and expires 14 days after it is awarded.
You may redeem your perk on eligible purchases at any physical Publix store location,
excluding Publix GreenWise Markets. Restrictions and exclusions apply.

When you pay with the Publix app at the register or enter the phone number associated
with your account at checkout, the 1% Back Perk in your Club Publix digital wallet will
automatically apply toward your eligible in-store purchase that amounts to at least the
value of the perk.
Our 1% Back Perks have no fixed value, may not be redeemed for cash, and may only be redeemed
for eligible in-store items or services. Our 1% Back Perks must be redeemed in their entirety.
If your transaction amount (subject to exclusions) does not meet or exceed the value of your perk,
then your perk will not be redeemed and will be deferred to a later qualifying transaction.
What items and/or purchases are eligible?
Club Publix members may earn 1% Back Perks on in-store purchases of eligible items or services at
participating Publix stores.
Our 1% Back Perks cannot be earned or redeemed on purchases of alcohol, tobacco, lottery items,
money services, postage stamps, charitable donations, gift cards, or prescriptions, or on the portion of any transaction
constituting taxes or fees. Additionally, 1% Back Perks cannot be earned on perk redemptions,
other discounts, coupons, taxes, or other fees.
Which stores are participating in the 1% back in perks program?
How long will this promotion last?
Our 1% back in perks program begins on September 1, 2022 and ends on December 31, 2022.
Club Publix members who purchase eligible items at participating stores
between September 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022,
excluding 11/24/2022 and 12/25/2022, may earn 1% Back Perks. To earn and redeem 1% Back Perks,
you must pay with the Publix app at the register or enter your phone number at checkout.
What if I spend more than $300 on a single purchase?
Each time you spend $300 on eligible purchases, you will be awarded a $3 perk that is
added to your digital wallet within 48 hours after your qualifying purchase.
If you make a single eligible purchase of more than $300, you will earn a single
1% Back Perk valued at $3, $6, or $9, depending on the amount you spent. Any amounts
you spend above the $300 threshold that do not immediately qualify you for a $6 or $9
perk will be applied toward your next perk.
Please note that there is a daily earning limit of $9; 1% Back Perks cannot be earned on the amount of any purchase exceeding $1,000.
Is there a limit to how much I can spend or earn?
A 1% Back Perk is awarded in the form of a $3, $6, or $9 perk, with a daily earning limit of $9.
There is a daily limit of $1,000 in eligible purchases for progress toward earning 1% back in perks.
You will not earn 1% back in perks on amounts spent in excess of $1,000 in a single day.
You can earn a maximum of a $9 perk per day.
Examples:
- On day 1, you spend $200 on eligible items, and on day 2, you spend $150 on eligible items. The next day, you receive a 1% Back Perk in the form of a $3 perk valid for 14 days toward your next eligible purchase of $3 or more, and 1% of the remaining $50 is applied toward earning your next 1% Back Perk.
- On day 1, you spend $350 on eligible items. The next day, you receive a 1% Back Perk in the form of a $3 perk valid for 14 days toward your next eligible purchase of $3 or more, and 1% of the remaining $50 is applied toward earning your next 1% Back Perk.
- On day 1, you spend $750 on eligible items. The next day, you receive a 1% Back Perk in the form of a $6 perk valid for 14 days toward your next eligible purchase of $6 or more, and 1% of the remaining $150 is applied toward earning your next perk.
- On day 1, you spend $950 on eligible items. The next day, you receive a 1% Back Perk in the form of a $9 perk valid for 14 days toward your next eligible purchase of $9 or more, and 1% of the remaining $50 is applied toward earning your next perk.
- On day 1, you spend $1,100 on eligible items. The next day, you receive a 1% Back Perk in the form of a $9 perk valid for 14 days toward your next eligible purchase of $9 or more, and 1% of $100 of the remaining $200 would be applied toward earning your next perk.
- On day 1, you spend $1,200 on eligible items. The next day, you receive a 1% Back Perk in the form of a $9 perk valid for 14 days toward your next eligible purchase of $9 or more, and 1% of $100 of the remaining $300 would be applied toward earning your next perk.
How do I find out how much I’ve earned?
Club Publix members can check the status of their 1% back in perks earnings anytime by visiting clubpublix.com/onepercent.
Earnings may take up to 48 hours to appear.
You may also opt in to
General Email Communications from Publix in your Club Publix account settings to
track your progress and receive notifications when 1% Back Perks are added to your Club Publix digital wallet.
Please note that General Email Communications are not the same as Personalized Communications.
You must opt in to Personalized Communications to be eligible for 1% back in perks.
Yes. Each 1% Back Perk expires 14 days after it is added to your Club Publix digital wallet.
The minimum purchase amount must be met in a single in-store transaction before taxes and other fees,
and after discounts are applied. Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes.
May I pay with a gift card and still earn or redeem 1% Back Perks?
Yes. When you make an eligible purchase at a participating Publix store
using a gift card as the payment method for all or part of your transaction, it will count toward
earning or redeeming 1% Back Perks, as long as you enter the phone number associated with your Club Publix account at the PIN pad.
This also applies if you load a gift card to the Publix app and pay with the Publix app at checkout.
What if my 1% Back Perk’s expiration date is a day Publix is closed for a holiday?
Publix observes Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day as holidays and will be closed.
If your perk’s expiration date happens to fall on one of these days, you must redeem it before the holiday.
Additionally, store hours are regularly subject to change.
I made a purchase, and my earnings do not match 1% of my transaction. Why?
Not all items or purchases are eligible for this limited-time offer.
Purchases of the following items are not eligible for 1% back in perks: alcohol,
tobacco, lottery items, money services, postage stamps, gift cards, and prescriptions.
The portion of any transaction constituting taxes or fees will not count toward 1% back in perks.
Additionally, discounts, coupons, taxes, and other fees do not count toward earnings.
May I use my earnings together or with other offers?
You may stack or use multiple 1% Back Perks in a single transaction.
You may also use a 1% Back Perk with eligible coupons in-store.
For example, you can combine a 1% Back Perk with a Club Publix birthday perk.
Your 1% Back Perk will be applied to an eligible qualifying purchase after taxes,
discounts, and other coupons are applied.
Can I earn 1% back for past Publix receipts and/or purchases?
We do not accept past receipts as part of the 1% back in perks program.
The only way to earn 1% back in perks is to self-identify—pay with the Publix
app at the register or enter the phone number associated with your Club Publix
account at checkout—at the time of purchase.
What happens to my accruals and earnings at the close of the promotional period?
Any remaining 1% accruals that do not reach $3—or any remaining accruals from transactions that do not reach the requisite $300 threshold—by the end of this promotion will be forfeited.
Any 1% Back Perk earned and awarded by the closing date of this promotion will remain available for use in your Club Publix digital wallet until its expiration date 14 days after the date
it was awarded, even if its expiration date falls on a day after the end date of this promotion.
